Crystal Cove Beach, Newport Beach, CAClick here to return to the Sutphen Family Home Page In early September, there was a tropical storm south of California off the Baja. It was reported that greater than normal wave heights were observed up the coast. We took an evening trip on day to Crystal Cove Beach, which is located at the south end of Newport Beach. The waves were definitely bigger, though I think they were beginning to taper off. With the sun setting, the colors and scenery were breathtaking. Hope you enjoy these shots. - Tom.
